Heidi Montag is scheduled to perform at this tonight's Miss Universe pageant in the Bahamas, but pageant production staffers are taking bets as to whether or not it will actually go down -because Heidi Montag's just that bad.

Sources tells pageant peeps are concerned that Heidi Montag just can't pull it off. We're told "Heidi Montag's lip-syncing and can't remember the lyrics" (to her own song!!!), "looks like a trainwreck," and "Heidi Montag can't dance." But Heidi Montag's got Jesus on her side, so we're sure it will turn out just fine. Ofcourse hardly.

Jennifer Hudson the 27-year-old Oscar winner gave birth to her first child, David Daniel Otunga Jr., on Monday, according to her publicist, Lisa Kasteler of WKT Public Relations. He is named after her fiance, David Otunga. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

"The baby is beautiful and perfect," says Hudson's publicist Lisa Kasteler. "His parents are ecstatic." Jennifer Hudson, who is also a Grammy-winning singer, had not confirmed Jennifer Hudson was expecting before announcing news of the birth.

The entertainer suffered a tragic blow last fall when her mother, brother and nephew were slain in her native Chicago. Her sister's estranged husband is charged with the killings.

Jennifer Hudson, who gained fame first as a top contender on "American Idol," won an Academy Award for best supporting actress for her portrayal of Effie in "Dreamgirls" in 2007. Earlier this year, Jennifer Hudson won a Grammy for best R&B album for her self-titled debut CD.

Kara DioGuardi returns to No. 1-rated TV singing show American Idol's 9th season

Kara DioGuardi made the debut this year as the fourth judge on No. 1-rated TV singing show "American Idol," will return to the panel for the upcoming ninth season, producers said on Monday.

Kara DioGuardi is a song writer and record-producer, was brought in to freshen the show after the Fox network's talent contest viewership began to slip. But with only a one-year contract, her future was unclear until Monday's announcement.

"DioGuardi is a breath of fresh air, and her passion for music and her understanding of talent is invaluable," "American Idol" creator Simon Fuller said in a statement.

"Idol" producers renewed host Ryan Seacrest's contract last month for three years for a reported $15 million a year- triple his past salary. But they have said nothing about Abdul, whose talent manager said in July that she was upset about not having received a new proposal and might leave the show.

The auditions before the judges will be start on Aug. 9 for the next season, which will be broadcast starting in January 2010. Judge Simon Cowell has cast doubt on his own future with the show after his contract ends in mid-2010.
